Happening Miracle

I never believed in miracles until I won the Netherlands trip in a contest. A small refrigerator had really won me a trip to Netherlands. It took me hours to realize that it was not a dream. I really had to believe that it was not a prank when the tickets for two to and from the Netherlands were handed over to me. My wife neither believed it when I informed her of the surprise over the telephone. She was simply spellbound when I placed the tickets on her palm.

Gradually we came in our senses. I realized that I had to chalk out many plans to turn the trip to a memorable one. First of all, I had to persuade my boss to spare me 2 weeks of leave. Then it was my turn to check the places of interest in Netherlands from some guidebooks. One of my colleagues came in my rescue. He referred to a website ‘mapsofworld.com’. I reached a cyber cafĂ© and checked the website. Really, it is a wonder. The total world was exposed to me when I opened that site. Whichever country you search for, it is available in that site. I mainly went through the web pages of Netherlands section. It informed me of the attractive sites, tour guides, hotels, restaurants and many. It acted as a true friend. It informed me even of the weather, culture of that country. Really, even before I landed in the Netherlands, I was loaded with information on that European country.

Some, though, had warned me not to believe the words of ‘mapsofworld.com’. But I understood that their warning was baseless when I stepped in the Netherlands. I could relate the real images in the Netherlands with those I had seen on the web pages of that website. Every detail on those pages proved to be true. I had to spend not a single penny on any tour guide.

My knowledge on Netherlands appreciated my sweetheart as well. While visiting Hoge Veluwe National Park with arms in my hands she had to confide in me “I am never complete without you”. Thanks to the contest organizer, mapsofworld.com for making my second honeymoon a mega hit.
